The high thermal conductivity of silver compensates for high heating without changing the thermal value of the spark plug, and fully meets the engine's requirements even when operating on gasoline. The electrode shape and smaller gap between electrodes reduce the demand for voltage supplied by the ignition system. The open spark gap does not hinder the spread of the flame front and ensures perfect combustion of the mixture, which is an advantage even when using SILVER series spark plugs for racing engines.
